Important Information for our customers in the USA

On the 29th August the current $800 de-minimis customs exemption for packages arriving in the United States ends, and tariffs must be paid before shipments arrive. This is as a result of an Executive Order dated 31 July 2025.

To ensure that shipments to our US customers by post and UPS courier continue to pass through customs as smoothly as they have done in the past, deliveries will in future be on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. To enable this, we will be modifying the Southeast Sailboats checkout page so that these tariffs are added as a separate line at checkout, within the total price for your order.

Monday 25th is a national holiday in the UK and hence our next shipping day would be Tuesday 26th - just 3 days ahead of the 29th August tariff introduction date. Our UK Royal Mail postal service is also temporarily suspending shipments to the US for approximately 2-3 days whilst new DDP postal codes are introduced for e-commerce customers such as Southeast Sailboats. As a result we have disabled shipping to the US until these changes have been implemented. This is to ensure that packages are not incorrectly shipped during this transition week 25-29 August which could cause packages to either be rejected by the postal system/UPS or worse impounded/destroyed by US customs!

We will re-instate shipping options to the US in a few days time, and will post an update as soon as these changes have been implemented.
