Switchable ratchet and Ratchamatic® blocks and associated springs and rubber stand up.  

40mm v 57mm: The Allen and Harken 40mm ratchet blocks have smaller openings than the normal 57mm block, reducing the chance of control lines or a loop of mainsheet getting pulled back through. The Harken 40mm ratchet block it is NOT approved by Harken for use on the ILCA/Laser, but we feel that the higher working load of the Allen 40mm makes that block a viable alternative to the normal 57mm block.

Holding Power: Note that the higher holding power of the 1.5 x and 2 x grip ratchet blocks does come at the expense of greater mainsheet wear, so bear that in mind.
