An 8:1 downhaul/Cunningham system is perfect for the ILCA7/Standard MkII rig, and can also be used by sailors using the 4.7/Radial and Standard Mk1 rigs. We offer systems using Allen, Ronstan and Harken blocks. Secondary lines include Robline Dinghy Control and Polytech, and the premium Marlow GP78 which is a harder wearing line. Start by selecting the block type for your downhaul system and use the drop down menus to select the secondary control line type, colour, length, and rig that you want your system optimsed for. System options (at the bottom of the page) allow the primary line to terminated at the top of the kicker assembly. This can be useful if you are using a braided chain handle and want to avoid having to tie/untie your handle when rigging. The top of kicker option also allows the same system to be used for all rig types.
