Harken 40mm ratchet block - this smaller block has a smaller opening than the normal 57mm block, reducing the chance of control lines or a loop of mainsheet getting pulled back through. Although a number of sailors use this block successfully, this block is NOT approved by Harken for use on the ILCA/Laser.   Use the small spring or the 369 Stand-Up boot with this block.  The 369 holds the block vertically much better than the spring.
